What can I do if my situation changes (if I get married, plan to start a family, divorce, etc)?

Our health cover options are designed to meet your different life stages.  So if your situation changes, please call us on 1300 30 6289, and allow one of our Member Services Team help you select the cover that best suits your prevailing needs and budget.

What do I do about my health membership if I go overseas?

You’ll have a range of options.  We recommend that you continue your health membership to ensure that there is no break in your eligibility for your benefits upon your return to Australia.

You should also consider taking out travel insurance to cover medical services whilst overseas.  Please call 1300 30 6289 to find out more about Navy Health Travel Insurance.  If you’re taking a long trip, you can apply to suspend your membership prior to your departure for a minimum of two months and up to two years.  Extensions beyond two years may also be possible, but you need to apply in writing to Navy Health. Conditions do apply.
